Awesome artist Patrick Dougherty

Ames is very fortunate to have this artist come and do his marvelous creations from sticks. We have a park called Ada Hayden (dedicated to the first women who received her doctorate degree from Iowa State) where Patrick Dougherty website: http://www.stickwork.net/ just spent his time creating this wonderful maze out of sticks. He uses cocoons, hives and lairs built from animals also. He does ask for volunteers to help him. Darn I missed it. But now I can go to the park and enjoy this wonderful creation. Here is a few pictures I have taken and my son is in them. My son did meet him and he also received his autograph.
